Inundation on Several Roads in North Jakarta Starts to Recede

To accommodate flood victims, some refugee camps have been set up such as at SMP 170 and At Taqwa Mosque, Pegangsaan Dua

"SMP 170 has 86 refugees and At Taqwa Mosque has 102 refugees. Today they have returned to their home," he told, Friday (1/3).

This is because the inundation in their settlements has receded. Similar condition is also spotted on Jalan Boulevard Raya in the front of MKG and Hibrida Raya and can be crossed by vehicles.

Yet there is 10-cm high inundation on Jalan Boulevard Barat, which is ongoing the construction of the Sunter - Pulogebang toll road. That is because the road drainage is disrupted by development projects.

"Besides Social Sub-agency, there are also from ACT and Yakobus School. Food aid will be distributed through community devices to the house," he stated.
